Mount Rushmore is currently the largest known scuplture featuring the portraits of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

Mount Rushmore was carved out of solid granite by artisans led by Danish-American artist Gutzon Borglum and his son, Lincoln Borglum, from 1927 until October, 1941.

I took all these photos of South Dakota's national monument with a consumer grade Samsumg Digimax A402, a digital point and shoot snapshot camera.
